Jörg brings nearly four decades of investing and capital markets experience across public and private markets. He served as Managing Director at both Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan and sat on the Boards of Directors of JPMorgan and Barclays, building and leading high-performing equities franchises across Europe. An entrepreneurial investor, he later co-founded Seven Miles Capital and is a Founding Partner at Cygnet Ventures, backing early-stage founders with hands-on operating and capital-markets expertise. Additionally, Jörg is a Founding Partner of London-based ‘The Growth Stage’, an institutional member-only investment platform für private growth equity & debt investments by >250 global Asset Management, Sovereign Wealth Funds & Family Offices.
Jörg has been a long-time mentor to Accresco’s CIO, Oliver Müller. He hired Oliver out of university at Merrill Lynch, and their collaboration continued later at JPMorgan. Today, Jörg extends this mentorship to Accresco’s Investment Committee, bringing a pragmatic, evidence-first lens to portfolio debates and risk decisions.
